The English translation for the MSX version of Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake, initially done by Maarten ter Huurne and Takamichi Suzukawa, is updated. Changes in this update:
- extended explanation of Natasha's brooch
- retranslated the story demo
This update extends the explanation reported by Ricardo Sánchez-Sáez, which now matches with the original japanese version. The story demo now contains the complete translation printed in the font which is used in the game. Of course the demo version also contains the newly translated story demo.
The translation is available for download as IPS patch. As an addition the demo version also got a repatch. It contains all translation fixes from the full version. It also contains translated advertisement lines.
You need the ROM image of the original version of either the game or the demo version to patch.
